Saturday February 28th is the last day of this impossibly long, cold, month and most of us will be happy to see it go and with it winter, yet the AS220 Galleries this month were filled with lush and vivid colors that offered solace from the frigid excesses of the unending snowfall, and so we also say goodbye with a bit of sorrow to the light that carried us through, so please join us on Saturday for closing receptions at the AS220 Main Gallery at 115 Empire St with John Irwin, T. Michael Tracy, and Patcharee Phmsouvannady. At the Project Space, Samantha Robinson’s silk-screen prints from her artist-in-residency are on view in the Reading Room and  Sue McNally will be giving an artist talk at 3 p.m.  followed by a casual closing reception till 5p.m. Read the review of Sue’s show from the ProJo here.

With fingers crossed that February won’t have a last blast of polar vortex, I hope to see you on Saturday.
