Artist Talk with Nora Rabins & Masha Ryskin
Artists Nora Rabins and Masha Ryskin will giving a talk at the AS220 Project Space on Saturday April 26th at 5 p.m. about their current exhibitions and studio practices. Nora Rabins is an interdisciplinary artist, designer, and educator whose work focuses on utilizing form, space, and the built environment as a means of creating experiences. Rabins’ work runs the gamut from composition and performance to sculpture and design; from the material and built to the abstract. Masha is a Russian born and Providence based artist and uses a variety of media, including drawing and painting, printmaking, installation, and fibers. Her work is concerned with landscape and its elements as a metaphor for memory, history, and passage of time.
