Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. is here! A letterpress printer, papermaker and builder of artist’s books all the way from Gordo, AL, he will be giving an Artist Talk tonight at 6pm in the Performance Space as part of the Print Lottery festivities. The talk with be moderated by Marc Levitt of Action Speaks. This event is free and not to be missed!
AS220’s Print Lottery is tomorrow, Saturday the 29th! The festivities kick off at 7pm in our Main Gallery and Performance Space at 115 Empire Street. We have a fair amount of tickets still available, so spread the word!
Each ticket wins a spectacular print, but the value of your purchase goes much, much deeper than that. Your ticket supports the operations of the Printshop, which promotes the full breadth of printmaking, supports local creativity through affordable workshops, fosters a vibrant learning community, and provides access to professional tools and facilities. Help support this community and get a beautiful print! Everyone wins.
So, once again, the Print Lottery is Saturday, September 29th from 7pm to 10pm. Every ticket is a WINNER! The best way to purchase a ticket is by visiting the AS220 Shop. Want to learn more about the shop and hear some words directly from the members who make up this amazing community? Visit the Print Lottery website to watch a short video about the space.
