Umberto Crenca was one of the original group of Providence and Rhode Island-based artists who took it upon themselves to create AS220 back in 1985. 28 years later, he’s still here serving as the Artistic Director, and AS220 remains true to it’s mission to provide access and opportunities for artists and those seeking to become involved in the arts.
