Over the past 5 years, the AS220 Printshop has taught 1,500 members of the community to become makers of multiples. Our dedicated team of 2 staff members, 13 keymembers, and 15 monitor members supports a shop that is open 6 days a week to the public, with 27 printing slots available daily to novice and seasoned printmakers alike. Each month, there are 780 hours of active printmaking with our resources, which range from a 1950‘s letterpress to a one-of-a-kind 9 foot etching press. We support a community of 400 members—putting prints in the in the public eye and pushing the boundaries of traditional printmaking methods.
