DESCRIPTION:<p>JUMPING ROPE AND TURNING TRICKS is presented as a script-in-
 hand radio drama.  The story is told in a series of flashbacks by a young 
 girl while in conversation with an aged writer.  The Girl\, a victim of st
 atutory rape\, is also a victim of her own guilt and insecurities and is f
 ound as easy prey by a series of characters. The play seeks to explore how
  young girls in our highly sexualized society can be taken advantage of by
  older boys and authority figures\, and who then often turn to drugs\, as 
 they spiral downward into a nether world that exploits them for their age 
 and vulnerability. The play also explores the questions surrounding the et
 hics of artists using such sensitive subjects as the raw material for thei
