 t well known and exciting Poetry Slam scenes nationwide.  The open mic is 
 open to all performers–writers\, poets\, musicians\, rappers\, comedians\,
  storytellers\, etc  Poets competing in the slam earn a shot at the semi-f
 inals and a chance at the national recognized Providence Youth and Open te
 ams\, who have performed and competed all over the country\, making semi-f
 inals and finals stage at Brave New Voices and the National Poetry Slam on
  multiple occasions. Tonight\, the best youth poets will be competing for 
 a chance to represent Providence at the international Brave New Voices com
 petition this summer in Chicago IL.<strong></strong><strong></strong></p>
 \n<p>The feature <strong>OMAR HOLMAN</strong> is a four time New York regi
 onal Grand Slam Champion. He graduated from Rutgers and along the way prof

 erses & Flow from TV One. He pairs the dramatic\; comedy and tragedy and w
 ill leave you unsure of whether your laughter is appropriate or not.</p>
